Toyota Farm Expo Asia 2026 Targets THB 250 Million in Sales Across 500 Booths and 20 Zones
Toyota Farm Expo Asia 2026, Thailand's first consumer-focused agriculture fair, targets THB 250 million in sales and 65,000 to 70,000 visitors over 4 days.
TOYOTA FARM EXPO ASIA 2026 has opened to a lively start, with Mr. Watcharapol Khaokham, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, presiding over the opening ceremony. It is Thailand's first consumer-focused agriculture fair, held under the theme "From Transformation to Tomorrow". Large numbers of farmers, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and young people have come together. The aim is to make Thailand the centre of agricultural innovation and business in Asia.
Targets and Organising Partners
The organisers are targeting more than THB 250 million in sales at the event, and hope to build on this to generate economic value of over THB 3,500 million through a network of farmers, entrepreneurs, technology providers, investors and consumers in Thailand and abroad.
Toyota Motor Thailand is the Naming Sponsor, together with the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA), CLP Engineering, the Rubber Authority of Thailand, the Government Savings Bank, Kubota, the Federation of Thai Industries and FTI Thai MACH EXPO. Other government agencies, private companies and educational institutions are also supporting the event with knowledge, research and funding sources.
Mr. Norabodee Padoongcharoen, Chief Executive Officer of Farm Expo Co., Ltd., believes the agricultural sector should no longer stop at production, but must compete on knowledge, technology, market access and value creation. He has set a goal for Farm Expo Asia to become the region's leading agribusiness platform within 3 to 5 years.
Event Highlights: International Forum and Business Matching Stage
The ARDA Agricultural International Forum 2026 covers the future of agriculture, food, technology and sustainability, from Global Food Security, Climate Change and ASEAN cooperation to AI and the food of the future. Rapeepat Chansrivong, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, delivers a keynote speech titled "Thailand Agriculture For Tomorrow". Experts from Thailand, Japan, China, the United States, Malaysia, Russia and ASEAN take part.
Another stage focused directly on trade is AGTX (Agri Trade Exchange), which has invited representatives from Japan, Malaysia, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Russia, Kazakhstan and China to present their own market needs. The organisers want to see Business Matching and real negotiations that lead to actual transactions, not just discussion on stage.
The AGRITHON by ARDA competition Final is a Live Pitching round that looks for innovations that turn research into practical use and opens the way to meet investors. Meanwhile, FTI Thai MACH EXPO brings together agricultural machinery made by Thai makers.
Exhibition Zones for General Visitors
The exhibition area has more than 20 zones and over 500 booths, covering machinery, technology, research, agricultural produce and the food of the future. Features include featured products from Kasetsart University, Japanese rice grown in Thailand, a "Temple of Soil" learning space, Thai wolffia (khai pham) as the Product Champion of Future Food, and an ORGANIC market selling health products directly from producers.
Activities include a coffee roasting competition run by the coffee association, Fruit Day Exotic featuring more than 1,000 kinds of fruit, a giant durian claw machine, a fruit vending machine with items at THB 1, stories from people who left office jobs to farm, and community-made spirits. There is also music from Yamaha and performances by artists.
