SX2026 Reveals 10 Sustainability Expo Highlights at QSNCC, 6-15 November 2026
SX2026 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center from 6-15 November 2026 brings together 10 Thailand MICE highlights, from disasters, health and art to markets and food.
Sustainability Expo 2026, or SX2026, is set to open at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center from 6 to 15 November 2026 for a total of 10 days under the concept "Adapt, Accept, Change" or "Resilience in Action", inviting people of all ages to learn about sustainability through exhibitions, panel discussions, markets and a variety of activities. The organisers have compiled 10 highlights to help visitors plan their visit according to their own interests, from those looking for ideas to live better lives to those seeking ways to develop communities and organisations.
Disasters, Nature and Art: Three Perspectives to See the World Differently
The international pavilion at the event brings together examples of disaster response technologies from several countries. The Japanese booth presents satellite technology for monitoring wildfires in collaboration with GISTDA and the Mae Fah Luang Foundation, while France showcases approaches to water management and urban planning for assessing flood risks. Meanwhile, the Netherlands, Sweden and China present examples of innovations in resources and energy.
Nature enthusiasts can start at the PROLOGUE zone, which uses large screens to tell stories from National Geographic, before continuing on to forestry and biodiversity activities by the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity, as well as the FLOODING ZONE, which simulates a submerged city scenario, and the Sensory Booth, which allows visitors to experience the limitations faced by people with visual and hearing impairments. Photography and art lovers can also view the royal photography exhibition by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, works from the White Elephant Art Award project, and photographs from the SX ASEAN Photo Contest.
Markets, Food and Health: Tangible Sustainability in Everyday Life
SX MARKETPLACE in Halls 7 to 8 brings together more than 230 shops under the concept of GEO-LOCAL MARKET, featuring Thai local wisdom. It offers community products, small-scale entrepreneurs and brands that consider resources right from the design stage, such as bags made from old fire hoses by Hugely, reed bags by KORKOK, and corn-cob cat litter by Corny. Next to the market is SX FOOD FEST, where more than 18 renowned chefs have created special menus from local ingredients, alongside stalls from the programmes The Spoon and WIN WIN WAR, as well as WASTE STATION points for waste sorting, which OKLIN has supported for the 4th consecutive year.
Those interested in Longevity can explore healthcare technologies at the event, ranging from Mirual Pad and VITALS AI, which use AI to analyse data from the face, to smart water bottles that track water intake and smart rings that monitor sleep and stress, along with health knowledge panel discussions from the Thai Red Cross Society and the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.
AI and the New Generation of Children: A Talk Topic Parents and Teachers Should Not Miss
Another notable highlight is the panel discussion "AI and the New Generation of Children: A Shortcut to Intelligence or a Killer of Thinking Skills?" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suriyadeo Tripathi and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Arunakul, founder of the "Liang Look Nok Baan" (Raising Children Outside the Home) page, inviting parents and teachers to understand the role of AI in children's learning, along with guidelines for using technology while still encouraging children to think for themselves.
