Thai Wellness Exhibition and Four Key Areas of Collaboration

Dr Pongsadhorn Pokpermdee, Director-General of the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, revealed that the event will feature the Thai Wellness Exhibition, allowing attendees to see, taste, touch, and experience traditional Thai healthcare wisdom. The exhibition space is divided into five main zones reflecting Thai identity.

  • Herbal & Scent of Siam: Presents the science of Thai herbs and Thai-inspired aromatherapy treatments
  • Siam Manee Showcase: Displays valuable health products derived from Thai wisdom
  • NUAD THAI & Wellness: Demonstrates the art of traditional Thai massage from four regions and activities preserving Ruesi Dat Ton (Thai hermit exercise)
  • Thai Food Good Health: Offers tastings of healthy cuisine from four regions alongside personal body element analysis via an interactive system
  • Phuket Local Products: Showcases local products and heritage from communities in Phuket province

The event is driven by public-private collaboration across four main areas: Thai wisdom and health products led by the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine and the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO); health science and innovation by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), TILSNA, and AMATHOPIA; holistic health and quality longevity (Longevity) driven by BDMS Wellness Clinic and Chiva-Som; and wellness tourism and international hospitality through the collaboration of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Phuket province, and the Angsana Laguna Phuket hotel.

Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner on Bang Tao Beach

For special events, Thailand has prepared a Welcome Reception on 10 November 2026 to convey the balancing of the four elements according to traditional Thai medicine through a contemporary performance titled MANEE OF SIAM. This will be followed by a Gala Dinner on 12 November 2026 at Bang Tao Beach under the concept Thai Food Good Health, featuring natural ingredients prepared as healthy Thai dishes, alongside a Thai cultural performance combining the Wai, Khon, Thai massage, Thai food, Muay Thai, and Nora.

This event announcement is of particular interest to hoteliers and event organisers looking to study international conference standards and delegate hospitality experience design. It is also beneficial for operators and travellers interested in wellness tourism trends in Phuket province.
