GI Market Roadshow 2026 at Central Chonburi Hosts Over 30 GI Stalls to Taste and Shop

The Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce, is organising the GI Market Roadshow 2026 from 2 to 8 November 2026 at the Activity Area, 1st Floor, Central Chonburi shopping centre, bringing together over 30 stalls of quality Geographical Indication (GI) products from across the country for Chonburi residents and tourists to taste and purchase. The event features the mascot Nong Phumphum to liven up the atmosphere, alongside free mini-concerts throughout the seven days, with the aim of opening new markets for GI entrepreneurs to reach consumers in the eastern region.

Ms Jittima Srithaporn, Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, assigned Mrs Kitiyaporn Sathusen, Director of the Geographical Indications Division, to deliver the opening remarks on her behalf on 2 November 2026. She stated that this event builds on the success of the GI Market Roadshow 2026 in Chiang Mai province in mid-October, which drew lively attendance from Chiang Mai residents and tourists. Expanding the event to the eastern region this time aims to build cooperative networks with the business sector and local retail channels to continuously increase trade opportunities and income for entrepreneurs, farmers and GI product-producing communities.
