Sodexo Thailand Distributes 2,500 Steamed Bun Sets at Amata City Run 2026 in Chonburi
Sodexo Thailand sponsored 2,500 Bun & Boost steamed bun sets for over 4,000 runners at the 16th Amata City Run 2026 in Chonburi province.
Sodexo Thailand, a global leader in food services and integrated facilities management from France, sponsored 2,500 sets of Bun & Boost steamed buns at the 16th Amata City Run 2026 health run to energise more than 4,000 participants. The event took place at Amata City Chonburi industrial estate in Chonburi province on 3 November 2026, through a collaboration between the Amata Group, the local industrial estate office and partners from various sectors. The event aimed to encourage personnel within the industrial estate as well as the general public to focus on their health through exercise, while building positive relationships between the business sector and the community under the We Care for Sustainable Society concept, which prioritises sustainability.
Business Sector Collaboration in Driving Society and the Environment
Participation in the event was led by Setthakan Paphakhiri, Senior Operations Director of Sodexo Amata Services Security Co., Ltd., alongside the executive team of Sodexo Thailand, who joined on site to deliver services to attendees. The event was also honoured by the presence of Aukkares Choochouy, Managing Director of Amata Facility Services and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Amata U, who joined for a commemorative photograph reflecting the commitment to improving the quality of life for people in the community. This collaboration demonstrates the role of business partners in working together with industrial estate developers to continuously create benefits for the surrounding society.
Beyond the goal of promoting health, the 16th Amata City Run 2026 also focused on tangible environmental protection under the We Care for Sustainable Society concept. The organising committee applied event management practices aimed at carbon neutrality throughout its operational processes to reduce environmental impact. Integrating sustainability principles into a mass sporting event helps establish a model for modern event management that cares for both public well-being and ecosystem quality at the same time.
Food Services to Energise Over 4,000 Participants
Within the event grounds, Sodexo Thailand set up a food service booth to distribute 2,500 sets of Bun & Boost cream-filled steamed buns to runners and participants after their exercise. Preparing easy-to-eat snacks that provide quick energy helped ensure smooth catering for more than 4,000 attendees. This activity reflects the organisation's commitment to applying its food service expertise to bring happiness and promote quality of life while creating shared value with clients, partners and the community.
