Gamification Mechanics and Co-Creation System for Building Personalised Investment Playbooks
Mr Pornlert Techarattanopas, Chief Executive Officer of efin Group, stated that artificial intelligence and the new global order are changing the way people work and conduct business, as well as the risks and opportunities facing people worldwide. The goal of investment is therefore not merely to increase capital, but to prepare so that life has options and can grow stably. Accordingly, this event shifted away from a conventional seminar format to a Co-Creation concept, enabling attendees to actively create their own Personalized Playbook through Gamification activities processed by the Intense Score system.
The learning journey for Ultimate and Explorer ticket holders was divided into 3 steps. It began with Step 1, completing the Investor DNA assessment to identify their baseline investment personality from 12 types, such as The Steady Hand for consistent investing, The Diamond Hand for long-term holding, or The Planner with a focus on planning. Next, in Step 2, attendees walked through the venue to gather hands-on experience from the main stage, workshop classrooms and master classes, as well as completing missions across various booths by scanning to record data via an application and dashboard. This unlocked the EVO DNA analysis in Step 3, converting it into a personalised investment playbook.
Event Outcomes and Attendee Behaviour Shifts
This event structure transformed partner organisation booths into essential learning checkpoints that attendees had to pass through to unlock their own playbooks. Post-event data revealed that around 8 in 10 eligible participants started the initial assessment, and almost all of them walked around to complete the full set of missions. Overall, around 7 in 10 attendees completed the activities and successfully received their personalised investment playbooks.
Furthermore, a comparison of data before and after participating in the 2-day activities showed a decline in the proportion of investors who previously focused on holding and waiting, while the group focusing on planning and independent analysis increased markedly. In particular, The Planner profile grew nearly twofold, reflecting the success of the hands-on event format.
National Perspectives and Macroeconomic Direction
On the opening day panel stage, Professor Dr Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, shared insights during the New World New Playbook session, noting that Thailand still relies on importing over 50% of its knowledge from abroad and must therefore shift its role to become a creator of new knowledge for the world as a national Game Changer. Meanwhile, Dr Thitima Chucherd, Senior Director and Head of Macroeconomic Research at the Economic Intelligence Center, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB EIC), spoke on the topic WHERE THE MONEY GOES NEXT, pointing out that artificial intelligence plays a vital role in helping the global economy improve.
BETTER TRADE 2026 serves as a noteworthy case study for event planners and organisers seeking to use Gamification and application systems to boost engagement at exhibitions, conferences and seminars. At the same time, it provides guidance for hotel professionals and venue operators in Thailand's MICE sector on preparing spaces to support interactive activities, while also benefiting seminar travellers looking for skill-development events in the city centre.
