BEM hosts MRT Journey of Happiness at Metro Mall, Chatuchak Park Station, 29 October to 1 November 2026, offering up to 50% off hotel stays and travel inspiration activities.
Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited, or BEM, has assigned Bangkok Metro Networks Limited, or BMN, in collaboration with tourism and hotel partners, to organise MRT Journey of Happiness (Happy Travel with MRT) from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at Metro Mall, Chatuchak Park Station, from 10.00 to 20.00 hrs. The event invites urban residents to take a break from daily fatigue, gather ideas to plan their next trip, enjoy accommodation deals with discounts of up to 50 per cent, and take part in travel-inspiring activities throughout the 4 days.
Two Special Privileges Throughout the Event
Attendees will receive 2 tiers of special privileges. The first privilege offers a free 20-inch suitcase for spending 2,000 baht or more on products or services at the event, including shops within Metro Mall at Chatuchak Park Station (receipts can be combined), limited to 35 redemptions per day and 1 bag per person throughout the event. The second privilege allows visitors who register via the LINE Official account metromallbkk during the event period a chance to win domestic round-trip flight tickets, dining vouchers from leading restaurants, and many other prizes.
Travel Inspiration Activities Throughout the 4 Days
Held under the concept Travel Therapy Journey, the event features a rotating line-up of guest speakers sharing travel insights each day. On the first day, 29 October, Boyd Kosiyabong and Singha Wannasingh Prasertkul will appear at the opening ceremony. On 30 October, CK Cheong, or CK Fastwork, will speak on the topic Happy Low Carbon Journey with MRT alongside the Association of Domestic Travel. On 31 October, there will be a Full Band music performance by Horwang School, followed by travel YouTuber Chiang from the channel Pai Yoo Nai Ma during the Executive Talk session. On the closing day, 1 November, stories of the Royal Barge Procession will be shared by the Good Power Youth Reporters group, followed by a mini-concert and finale performances.
