The exhibition area at the event was divided into 3 main zones to convey the historical development, fine craftsmanship and innovative evolution of traditional textiles from Jiangsu province. Visitors were able to view important artefacts and artworks up close, including ceremonial robes from the Ming dynasty, replica Nankeen cloth and decorative accessories crafted from Nanjing Yunjin brocade. This display format helped attendees understand ancient weaving and embroidery processes, as well as absorb the cultural value embedded in each piece of fabric.
In addition to the artefact display, the China Cultural Center in Budapest organised the 7th Stories from China lecture series under the theme Nanjing Yunjin Brocade: Woven Clouds of Jiangnan.
