TOP25 Restaurant Rankings 2026: POTONG Takes No. 1 in Bangkok, OMEMO Leads the South

TOP25 Restaurants International announced the results of the TOP25 Restaurants Thailand Awards 2026 on 29 October 2026, honouring leading restaurants in Bangkok as well as Phuket and the South. The rankings were assessed through the Restaurant Rating Index, which combines AI with human expertise to select high-quality restaurants. The results showed that POTONG ranked first in Bangkok, while OMEMO took first place in Phuket and the South.

Restaurant Rankings in Bangkok and the South

In Bangkok, POTONG took first place, followed by Chef's Table by lebua in second, Sorn in third, Baan Tepa in fourth, and INDDEE in fifth, reflecting the diversity of cuisine in the capital. In Phuket and the South, OMEMO ranked first, followed by The Smokaccia Laboratory in second, L'Arôme by the Sea in third, Tambu in fourth, Royd in fifth, and Aulis Phuket in sixth. AIM, Acqua, Age and Saffron Phuket also made the region's top 10. Special awards were also presented to restaurants that distinctively convey local culture and identity through their ingredients and cooking methods.

Driving Tourism and the MICE Industry Through Thai Cuisine

At the opening ceremony, Saranroj Sutatchuto, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organisation), or TCEB, said that Thailand's strength in meetings, exhibitions and business travel, or MICE, does not rest on world-class facilities and professional service alone. Experiences drawn from food culture, local identity, creativity and Thai hospitality are all key factors that impress travellers from around the world. This award therefore helps honour establishments that build the country's reputation and supports the overall growth of the events industry.

Bernard Metzger, founder of TOP25 Restaurants International, said the 2026 rankings aim to celebrate the people and restaurants that make Thailand a destination worth exploring, using AI alongside experts to give outstanding restaurants greater opportunities for wider recognition. The event also featured a Culinary Showcase, where restaurants and beverage partners presented their signature food and drink menus. This activity gave hoteliers, restaurant owners, media and partners the opportunity to exchange views and build networks of cooperation to further develop Thailand's tourism industry.
