Thai Airways Opens Terminal of Imagination Showcasing 5 Explorer Mascots at One Bangkok

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited held the Terminal of Imagination event on 28 October at One Ultra Screens cinema within the One Bangkok development to officially launch the mascots in the THAI Junior Sky Explorers collection. Mr Kittiphong Sansomboon, Chief Commercial Officer, presided over the opening ceremony, joined by a large number of Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer programme members, media representatives, and influencers. The event forms part of the expansion of a programme aimed at building engagement with the airline's young travellers and families.

Meet the 5 Little Explorer Mascots

The five mascots are inspired by the charm of Thai identity across different regions: the fighting rooster from Phitsanulok, the Thai elephant from Surin, the Wichianmat cat from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, the water buffalo from Phatthalung, and the Sarika myna from Songkhla. Each mascot has its own distinct personality, encompassing courage, gentleness, keen observation, sincerity, and creativity. Together as a team, they serve as representatives that invite children to learn new things and open up the world of travel.

The event featured a simulated travel atmosphere where children could take part in activities, taste food from THAI Catering, and watch the animated film FORGOTTEN ISLAND, which tells a story of adventure, friendship, and courage, with all five mascots joining in to bring fun throughout the event. In addition, Miss Abigail Rangsisingpipat, the programme's first THAI Junior Air-bassador, also attended to meet the explorers during the opening ceremony.
