"Adapt, Accept, Change" Theme Addresses a Volatile World
This year's event continues to follow the core concept of "Sufficiency for Sustainability", expanding into practical action under the name "Adapt, Accept, Change", or "Resilience in Action", highlighting that sustainability is not limited to environmental care alone, but also encompasses people's ability to adapt and respond to changes in technology, resources and health.
Tongjai Thanachanan, Director of the SX2026 Organising Committee, stated that this edition integrates the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy with the global Sustainable Development Goals, with collaboration from the six co-founding organisations as well as the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), which has joined forces to drive the Carbon Neutral Event framework for the expo.
SX Global Forum Debuts as an International Collaboration Platform
This year introduces a new platform called SX Global Forum, bringing together policy conferences and B2B and B2G business matching with international partners, alongside insights on cities and living with water from experts awarded the Stockholm Water Prize in global water management.
In addition, explorers from National Geographic will share stories of social and environmental impacts from the Amazon Basin linked to the Mekong Basin, giving attendees a broader perspective on environmental issues.
10 Highlight Zones from Talk Stages to a Recycled Goods Market
Throughout the 10 days of the event, visitors will experience activities across 10 main zones:
- SX Talk Stage: a discussion stage featuring over 60 topics from speakers across diverse fields
- SX Prologue: an immersive exhibition in collaboration with National Geographic
- SX KIDS ZONE: a nature learning zone for children
- SX IDEA LAB: a space for hands-on workshops
- SX FOOD FESTIVAL: a food festival linked to reducing climate impact

The variety of activity zones makes this event not just an exhibition space, but also a trade show and business matching platform for sustainability entrepreneurs from across ASEAN.
This event is of interest to conference and exhibition organisers seeking a low-carbon Thailand MICE event model to adopt, travellers and families looking for activities to visit in Bangkok, as well as hotel and tourism professionals wishing to follow sustainability trends to apply to their own businesses.
