Russian Export Center to Host Made in Russia Showcase at RTIF 2026 in Bangkok, 30-31 Oct
The Russian Export Center will host a Made in Russia pavilion at RTIF 2026 in Bangkok on 30-31 October 2026, enabling B2B negotiations between Thailand and Russia.
The Russian Export Center (REC), part of the VEB.RF Group, is set to organise a product showcase under the Made in Russia brand in Bangkok on 30-31 October 2026 as part of the 2nd Russia-Thailand Investment Forum (RTIF 2026). The Russia-Thailand Business Council (RTBC) is managing the Made in Russia pavilion, with the Made in Russia brand serving as a key partner of the event. The goal is to enable Russian manufacturers to reach buyers in Thailand, test market demand, and engage in direct business matchmaking with the Thai business sector.
Product Zones and Pavilion Activities
Inside the Made in Russia pavilion, there will be exhibition zones featuring a wide range of products from Russian manufacturers, alongside a tasting area where attendees can sample Russian agricultural and processed products. In addition, a streaming studio will be set up for live-stream sales, where Russian and Thai bloggers will present products in formats tailored to each platform.
Another core activity is B2B business matchmaking, through which REC will support Russian exporters in meeting directly with event attendees and forum delegates interested in establishing trade relations. Events of this nature fall within the trade exhibition and MICE Thailand sector, focusing primarily on international business negotiations.
Comments from the Organisers and Side Activities
Tatiana An, Vice President of REC, stated that Thailand is one of the highest-potential markets in Southeast Asia for Made in Russia products, and that this event in Bangkok will help Russian companies present their products directly to local buyers as well as test the market through marketplace platforms and multiple B2B negotiations.
Vladimir Kovalev, Executive Director of RTBC, added that the national product pavilion in Thailand will provide Russian manufacturers with comprehensive support, from the product certification process to marketing and legal assistance, which is expected to significantly boost trade volume between Russia and Thailand. In addition, RTIF 2026 will feature a friendly badminton tournament on 31 October 2026, with business representatives and professional athletes from both countries taking to the court. Registration for this activity is currently open.
