DIPROM Hosts BCG Green Horizon 2026 at Siam Paragon, 30 Oct to 1 Nov 2026
DIPROM is hosting BCG Green Horizon 2026, a circular economy trade exhibition at Siam Paragon from 30 October to 1 November 2026.
The Department of Industrial Promotion, or DIPROM, is preparing to host BCG Green Horizon 2026, a circular economy and eco-friendly product trade exhibition, from 30 October to 1 November 2026 at Star Hall, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon, under the concept of turning resources into sustainable business opportunities. The event is organised to build upon the results of driving the BCG economy model among SME entrepreneurs continuously for 4 years.
Ms Natthiya Netayasupha, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion, stated that from 2023 to 2026, a total of 4,590 entrepreneurs participated in the department's projects and activities, generating over 2,516 million baht in economic value through cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and revenue generation, whilst helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 150,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent. These achievements resulted from the ONE MIND (One Industry) policy of Mr Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, delivered through the DIPROM FLEXi mechanism, which supports entrepreneurs in funding sources, adding value to local resources, reducing costs, expanding markets, and developing innovation.
Why Thai Entrepreneurs Must Adapt to Global Environmental Standards
The Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion noted that Thai entrepreneurs are facing challenges from the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, or CBAM, which affects competitiveness in the global market. Adopting the BCG economy model, comprising the bioeconomy, circular economy, and green economy, is therefore a way to increase production efficiency, reduce resource use and waste, and add value to products. Data from the International Energy Agency, or IEA, indicates that improving energy efficiency in the industrial sector can reduce energy costs by more than 10% within 3 years and potentially by up to 60% in the long term.
What Is Featured at BCG Green Horizon 2026
BCG Green Horizon 2026 will present approaches to using biological resources to create high-value products, developing waste materials into new products, and improving production processes to be environmentally friendly, alongside driving the development of Thai textiles and building upon the Thailand Recycled Textiles Tag to build confidence in the market for products made from recycled materials. The event serves as a trade exhibition connecting knowledge, technology, and innovation with practical business development.
