Global Anti-Scam Alliance, Gogolook-Meta Host First Asia Summit in Thailand 10-11 Nov 2026

The Global Anti-Scam Alliance, or GASA, in partnership with Gogolook, the developer of the Whoscall application, and Meta, has announced that the Global Anti-Scam Summit Asia will be held in Thailand for the first time from 10 to 11 November 2026 at Pullman Bangkok King Power. Co-hosted by the Royal Thai Police and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, the event will bring together government agencies, the private sector and civil society from across the region to discuss ways to combat increasingly sophisticated transnational scam networks.

The event is supported by Google, Trend Micro, CUBE AI and Outseer. Chaichanok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, is scheduled to deliver the opening keynote address, which the organisers view as a reflection of Thailand's role in advancing regional digital safety.

What the Event Covers

A key highlight of the event is the release of the State of Scams in Asia 2026 research alongside the State of Scams in Thailand 2026 report, which outline the scam situation at the regional level as well as the specific challenges facing Thailand. Over the two days, participants will examine in depth the impact on people and how scam operation centres function, hear the experiences of survivors and exchange approaches to addressing cross-border human trafficking.

The conference agenda also covers the financial trails behind scams, national anti-scam systems, threats from AI, designing safer digital services and the role of telecommunications operators in blocking scam calls and messages. In addition, the Scam Fighter Awards will be presented to recognise initiatives that have achieved tangible results in prevention, detection and law enforcement against scam syndicates.

Who Should Register to Attend

Jorij Abraham, Managing Director of GASA, stated that scam networks operate across borders and use multiple channels, meaning that an effective response requires cooperation among all relevant agencies. Meanwhile, Jeff Kuo, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Gogolook, said that information sharing across sectors is key to disrupting scams from initial contact with victims through to the transfer of funds.

Registration is now open to representatives from government agencies, businesses, researchers and digital safety organisations to exchange views and expand collaboration on research, law enforcement and consumer education with partners across the region.

This news is of interest to conference and seminar organisers tracking international MICE event formats in Bangkok, as well as professionals working in digital policy and financial security seeking updates on the latest anti-scam measures.
