Emirates Holidays Customers Get 40% Discount at 14 Central Malls Across Thailand
Central Pattana and Emirates Holidays launch Thailand Pass, offering discounts and privileges at 14 shopping centres across Thailand for tour package travellers.
Central Pattana Public Company Limited, in partnership with Emirates Holidays, the tour operating arm of Emirates Airline, launched the Thailand Pass programme on 29 October to attract high-spending travellers to 14 shopping centres in key tourist cities across Thailand. This collaboration aims to expand the customer base from high-spending long-haul markets, namely the Middle East, the United States and the United Kingdom, to help stimulate cash flow into the local economy in line with government policy. Travellers will receive comprehensive benefits including merchandise discounts, lounge services and inter-branch shuttle services right from the trip planning stage.
Dr. Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Chief Marketing Officer of Central Pattana Public Company Limited, revealed that Thailand remains a key destination for Emirates Holidays customers, with travel bookings increasing by 10% compared to the previous year. Currently, Emirates Airline operates a total of 49 flights per week to Thailand, deploying the Airbus A350 on the Phuket route and introducing retrofitted Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft featuring the Premium Economy cabin on the Bangkok route. The launch of Thailand Pass therefore helps create a Curated Travel & Shopping Experience that integrates travel, shopping and dining to elevate the shopping centres as a Center of Life for international travellers.
Three operational approaches connecting travellers to 14 branches
This initiative is driven by three main approaches: CONNECT, CONVERT and CURATE, to reach Quality Shoppers from their home countries. The CONNECT approach utilises the Emirates Holidays network covering more than 50 cities across 6 continents worldwide, including the Middle East, Europe and the Americas, to position the group's shopping centres as a Must-Visit Destination from the Trip Planning & Booking Stage. Meanwhile, the CONVERT approach aims to turn travel into actual spending across 14 shopping centres: CentralWorld, Central Park, Central Rama 9, Central Village, Central Pattaya, Central Marina Outlet, Central Udon Thani, Central Chiang Rai, Central Chiangmai Airport, Central Chiang Mai, Central Phuket, Central Hat Yai, Central Krabi and Central Samui.
Privileges from leading stores and entertainment venues
The CURATE approach selects special privileges in partnership with Thai and international retail partners to deliver value throughout the journey. Customers will receive buy-1-get-1-free offers from Swensen's and Auntie Anne's at participating tourist city branches, a 10% discount on regular-priced items at Karmakamet at CentralWorld, as well as special privileges from MAGURO and Bura Marie restaurants. In addition, there are buy-1-get-1-free offers for admission tickets and entertainment activities, including Aquaria Phuket and OTO Playpark at Central Phuket, as well as Playmondo and Playsquare Laser Tag at CentralWorld.
