Three Long-Stay Tourism Routes and Full-Service Care
At the event, Guizhou presented three long-stay tourism and residency routes: summer getaways, experiencing southern Guizhou's sunshine, and health and wellness recuperation. It also highlighted its "Five-Heart" service, which supports Macau visitors from choosing accommodation and conducting secure transactions through to credit support and the safety of their funds.
The event also featured a cooperation-signing ceremony between Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Group and the Association of Tourism Agents of Macau, and between Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group and Air Macau, to expand travel and tourism channels between the two places. In addition, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism presented a plaque of recognition to Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Group for its management of the Colorful Guizhou overseas tourist service centre in Macau.
Exhibition Zone and Local Specialities Draw Attendees
The venue was divided into an open networking area, a long-stay experience zone covering six categories, and an exhibition zone for private enterprises showcasing Guizhou's signature products, including intangible cultural heritage, tourism souvenirs, health products, beverages such as coffee, new-style tea and craft beer, and local food. Many attendees stopped by to view the exhibits and discuss cooperation opportunities.
The event also distributed guides for Macau residents interested in Guizhou, covering both tourism and property purchases, as well as rental advice for long-stay visitors. Guizhou Province said it has structured its industry around six areas - culture, tourism, sport, health care, commerce and transport - to ensure visitors and long-stay residents receive a quality experience.
Organisers said the success of this event helps strengthen cultural and tourism cooperation between Guizhou and Macau, and will drive Guizhou's expansion into the long-stay market across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, as it pushes to become one of the country's leading long-stay destinations.
This news will be of interest to tourism operators and event organisers seeking cooperation opportunities with the Chinese market, as well as hospitality professionals and travellers interested in long-stay living abroad.
