National Farmers Council Hosts Agri Next Thailand 2026 With Over 100 Vendors
The National Farmers Council and TCEB host Agri Next Thailand 2026 at The Government Complex Building B, featuring over 100 local produce vendors and a business matching forum.
The National Farmers Council, in collaboration with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization), or TCEB, and partner organisations, opened Agri Next Thailand 2026 under the concept From Local Value To Global Market on 29 October 2026 at the Multi-purpose Plaza, 2nd Floor, Building B, The Government Complex Commemorating His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary. The event is organised as a platform to connect entrepreneurs across the entire supply chain, ranging from farmers, innovation developers, product processors and distributors to exporters. The event focuses on knowledge exchange and concrete business negotiations to transition the Thai agricultural sector from an emphasis on production volume towards creating added value in the global market.
Export Direction and Policies to Elevate Thai Agricultural Products
The Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO) revealed that in 2025, Thailand exported agricultural and agro-industrial products worth a total of 1,709,075 million baht, a decrease of 0.4 per cent from the previous year. Exports of primary agricultural products declined by 4.1 per cent after four consecutive years of expansion, whereas the agro-industrial product segment continued to grow by 4.1 per cent for the second consecutive year. These figures reflect a significant opportunity to develop raw materials into processed products to enhance competitiveness at the international level.
Mr Kosol Pattama, Adviser to the Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office, stated that the government aims to promote production efficiency alongside raising standards and marketing so that farmers can achieve stable incomes amidst economic volatility. Meanwhile, Mr Naiyarit Chamle, Chairman of the National Farmers Council, noted that the National Farmers Council is ready to support producers in becoming entrepreneurs who use innovation to manage costs in accordance with the Second Master Plan for Agricultural Development (2025 to 2032), which focuses on green agriculture. Additionally, Mr Saranroj Suthaschuto, Deputy Director of TCEB, added that the event uses MICE industry mechanisms and Business Matching activities to directly connect producers with buyers in order to propel Thailand towards becoming a regional agribusiness hub.
