PokPok Oktoberfest 2026: Nine Days on the Chao Phraya at The 71 Venue from 24 October
POKPOK will hold PokPok Oktoberfest 2026 at The 71 Venue from 24 October to 1 November 2026, with over 50 booths, live music and group and corporate table bookings.
POKPOK, a food brand that grew out of mobile food trucks and a food delivery model, is preparing to hold PokPok Oktoberfest 2026 under the theme "A New Tradition Begins." The event runs for nine days, from 24 October to 1 November 2026, at The 71 Venue on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. It brings the atmosphere of a Munich-style German festival to a shared space for meeting and celebrating. Mr Nattapong Jaruwijit, Founder and CEO of POKPOK, said the event is an experiment in creating an experience that brings people together.
What is at the event
The event uses both the hall and the outdoor riverside zone of The 71 Venue. It brings together German food, international food and drinks from a range of brands, with more than 50 booths in total. The venue is decorated in Bavarian style, with long tables for groups to sit together.
Live music and interactive activities run throughout the day, catering to general visitors, groups of friends and families. Table bookings are also available for groups and organisations.

Working with German-related networks
For this event, POKPOK is coordinating with German-related organisations in Thailand. It has held discussions with the German Alumni Association under the Royal Patronage (VTD) and the Thai-German Culture Foundation (TDKS) to bring German flavours and culture into the event.
It is currently arranging to invite a representative of the Embassy of Germany in Thailand to the opening ceremony, and is talking with agencies and partners from a number of sectors. The aim is to work together to build PokPok Oktoberfest into an annual festival in the future.
From the mobile grocery truck to creating a meeting space
Mr Nattapong said POKPOK began with a pain point over food delivery fees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Consumers wanted food from a wide range of restaurants, including ones far away, but often changed their minds because delivery fees were high. He therefore combined the idea of the Phum Phuang mobile grocery truck with a food court and food delivery, putting food from many restaurants into a single vehicle and delivering to several customers in the same area to share the cost.
From a handful of trucks at the start, POKPOK grew to 7 trucks in less than a year, then to 11 trucks covering 16 routes, and now has around 50 trucks in service. Between 2024 and 2025, it recorded total sales of more than 100 million baht.
As its core business grew stronger, POKPOK began looking for opportunities to extend the brand into new spaces. PokPok Oktoberfest 2026 is one of its major experiments: instead of taking food to consumers, it creates a space where people come together, with food as the link.
