OTOP Trader Connect Trade Fair Opens at Central Westgate on 29 October 2026

The Community Development Department, Ministry of Interior, is preparing to hold a trade and business-matching event under the name OTOP Trader Connect from 29 October to 2 November 2026 at the ground-floor event space of Central Westgate shopping centre. The event brings together food and household items from more than 40 community enterprises from across the country, offered at special prices along with benefits from the Thai Chuay Thai Plus programme to help reduce costs for consumers. It also aims to expand trade networks and distribute income directly to local areas through business matching and sales promotion activities throughout all five days.

Business Matching and Expanding Distribution Channels for Community Products

A key highlight of OTOP Trader Connect is the opening of a trade negotiation space through Business Matching activities, which bring community product manufacturers and OTOP Trader distributors together directly with buyers and business partners. This business matching process helps create new trade opportunities and expand the customer base to cover both offline storefront distribution channels and online trade networks. Local entrepreneurs can therefore showcase the potential of their products to build long-term cooperation, while buyers can select products from producers across the country all in one place.

Members of the public who attend the event will be able to choose from outstanding products from more than 40 community vendors nationwide, covering ready-to-eat food, local ingredients and quality household items. Participating vendors are offering special prices and in-event promotional deals so consumers can buy directly from producers. Buyers can also use additional benefits from the Thai Chuay Thai Plus programme for greater value, while contributing to the sustainable growth of the community economy.

Knowledge Activities, Entertainment and Prize Draws at the Event

In addition to shopping and business negotiations, the event will also hold workshops to demonstrate production processes and share knowledge about OTOP products with interested visitors. These demonstration activities give visitors the chance to learn skills and experience the value of local wisdom up close from skilled producers. At the same time, there will be a music stage featuring a mini concert from artists who will help create a relaxing atmosphere for visitors throughout the event.

Those who purchase products at the event will also be entitled to take part in a daily lucky draw prepared for consumers every day. The highlight on the final day of the event, 2 November 2026, is the chance to win five grand gold prizes with a total value of 50,000 baht. These promotional activities are designed to encourage purchasing decisions and create a lively atmosphere for the Thai community product market throughout all five days of the event.
