PMCU and TAT Host Pa Cha Taek Halloween Festival at Banthat Thong, 26 Oct to 1 Nov 2026
PMCU, TAT and Banthat Thong businesses will hold the Pa Cha Taek festival from 26 October to 1 November 2026, bringing a temple fair and haunted house to the dining street.
Property Management of Chulalongkorn University (PMCU), together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and businesses in the Banthat Thong area, is organising the "Pa Cha Taek" Halloween Festival from 26 October to 1 November 2026 on Banthat Thong Road and at the car park next to Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park. The event blends a traditional Thai temple fair atmosphere with Halloween spookiness, inviting Bangkok residents to dine, explore and take part in activities over 7 full days.
This collaboration is part of a tourism campaign pushed by TAT to position Banthat Thong as a destination for both Thai and international tourists, rather than merely a dining street as in the past.
Event Highlights
Visitors will see the car park next to Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park transformed into an urban temple fair featuring game stalls and retail booths set in a Halloween atmosphere, suitable for strolling with friends, partners or family.
- A large haunted house in the middle of Banthat Thong Road, where diners supporting restaurants in the area have the chance to receive entry coupons subject to each restaurant's conditions.
- A Thai ghost parade that not only marches along the street, but also stops to greet people dining at various restaurants across Banthat Thong.
- Ghost storytelling by "Khuen Phut Mut Pha Hom", creating an atmosphere of mysterious Thai tales to make Halloween night more enjoyable.
- An open invitation for everyone to dress up as Thai ghosts, international ghosts or in fancy dress to stroll, take photos and play temple fair games throughout the festival.

The Beginning of the Banthat Thong Temple Fair: 3 Months, 3 Festivals
The Pa Cha Taek festival is the first event under the "Banthat Thong Temple Fair: 3 Months, 3 Festivals" concept planned by PMCU together with TAT and local businesses to create continuous activities from Halloween and Loy Krathong through to the year-end festivities.
This approach aligns with efforts to promote Banthat Thong as a destination for dining, visiting and enjoying activities in the heart of Bangkok, giving visitors a reason to stay and enjoy themselves all day rather than simply stopping by for a meal and leaving.
This news is of interest to tourists looking for Halloween attractions in Bangkok, event organisers wishing to study a model for organising activities in partnership with a commercial district, and restaurant operators in the Banthat Thong area who may benefit from increased visitor numbers throughout the festival period.
