MAGURO GROUP Opens First Thai Branch of Ginza's Age.3 at Central Park
MAGURO GROUP opened Age.3, the fried sandwich shop from Ginza, at Central Park G Floor on 1 October 2026, featuring over 30 items and a Bangkok Exclusive menu.
Maguro Group Public Company Limited, or MAGURO GROUP, officially opened Age.3, the famous specialty fried sandwich shop from the Ginza district of Tokyo, its first branch in Thailand, on 1 October 2026 at Central Park G Floor. This is part of the company's plan to penetrate the Snack and Dessert market under its Accessible Premium strategy, after announcing the acquisition of the brand license in the middle of last year.
Jakkrit Saisomboon, Chief Executive Officer of MAGURO GROUP, stated that he wanted to bring the Fried Sandwich experience, which had created a phenomenon of long queues in Ginza, and adapt it to the behaviour and purchasing power of Thai people, in terms of both accessible pricing and healthier menus. In Japan, Age.3 once achieved a peak sales volume of 3,000 pieces per day and is known as the pioneer of the Redefining the Fried Sandwich concept.
Frying Technique that Creates the Unique Hot and Cold Experience
The highlight of Age.3 lies in the frying of its signature Shokupan bread, with precise temperature and time control, resulting in a thin, crispy, golden-yellow texture without absorbing oil. Combined with the soft, chilled whipped cream filling, it creates a temperature contrast in the same bite that the shop calls the Signature Texture Moment.
The shop's whipped cream also uses Lakanto, a 100 percent natural sweetener, instead of granulated sugar, resulting in a No Sugar Added recipe that retains sweetness but has no calories from sugar, catering to health-conscious customers without abandoning the brand's original taste.
Over 30 Items, Including a Bangkok Exclusive Pad Kra Pao Flavour
The first branch in Thailand has a menu of more than 30 items to choose from, covering everything from breakfast and snacks to desserts. They are divided into the Sweet Selection group, such as Whipped Cream and Strawberry Jam, through to Banana Brulée, and the Savory Selection group, such as Egg Salad, as well as ice cream and Smoothie drinks, allowing customers to drop by for a Grab & Go purchase or dine in throughout the day.
Interestingly, many items in Thailand are priced lower than those sold in Japan, and there is also a Bangkok Exclusive menu that cannot be found at any other branch in the world: Pad Kra Pao, a fried sandwich filled with a chicken and pork hamburg, onsen egg, lettuce, holy basil sauce, and red jinda chilli.
