WP Energy Partners with Ejan for Flood Relief, Opens Gas Delivery for Restaurants

WP Energy Public Company Limited, the distributor of cooking gas under the World Gas brand, in collaboration with the Ejan page and a volunteer network, visited Nonthaburi Municipality District 4 on 1 October 2026 to deliver 360 essential supply kits to flood victims. Concurrently, a special channel was opened to help coordinate the delivery of cooking gas to affected restaurants in Bangkok that are inaccessible to standard transport vehicles. This project operates under the name "World Gas Stands with Flood Victims".

360 Relief Kits Delivered Using High-Clearance Vehicles

The team prepared essential supply kits for hygiene care and initial relief, comprising clean drinking water, instant noodles, basic household medicines, milk, mosquito repellent spray, and pet food, to cover the needs of all households in the area. Due to the high water levels in Nonthaburi Municipality District 4, which rendered it inaccessible to standard vehicles, the company arranged high-clearance water-wading trucks to transport and distribute the items directly to victims in hard-to-reach locations.

Chomkamol Poompanmoung, Chief Executive Officer of WP Energy Public Company Limited, stated that the company wishes to be part of alleviating the hardship caused by this flood by utilising its resources, transport vehicles, and staff to work alongside the Ejan team, an agile volunteer network, to deliver essential items to affected individuals promptly. This is coupled with taking care of small restaurants to ensure they have cooking gas ready for use.

Since transporting cooking gas cylinders to shop areas is difficult during floods, the company has opened a special channel via the Restaurant Business Partner Facebook page for affected restaurant operators in Bangkok to submit their information to request coordination. They must specify their first and last name, contact telephone number, shop name and shop registration number (if any), detailed address and delivery coordinates, along with the type and size of the gas cylinder used. Delivery will be considered based on safety, route conditions, and water levels in each area.
