Thanapiriya and Deksomboon Support Ingredients for Chiang Rai Vegetarian Festival

Thanapiriya Public Company Limited, a retail and wholesale operator of Thanapiriya local supermarkets in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phayao and Lampang provinces, in collaboration with Yan Wal Yun Corporation Group Co., Ltd., manufacturer of Deksomboon brand seasonings, organised an activity to support vegetarian cooking ingredients for participants observing the vegetarian precept in Chiang Rai province during the Chiang Rai Vegetarian Festival. Senior executives from both companies travelled to open the event in person and directly handed over ingredients and food to attendees.

Presenting Ingredients and Beverages to Precept Observers

Mr Thanapong Puttipiriya, Deputy Managing Director of Operations, Mr Thanaphoom Puttipiriya, Deputy Managing Director of Marketing, and Mr Pittaya Jitmase, Deputy Managing Director of Accounting and Finance at Thanapiriya Public Company Limited, together with Mr Veerapong Tangsombatvisit, Executive Director and Assistant Vice President of Domestic Sales at Yan Wal Yun Corporation Group Co., Ltd., jointly opened the merit-making activity by presenting seasonings, vegetable oil and noodles for preparing vegetarian dishes. In addition, ready-to-drink soy milk, instant noodles and instant cereal beverages were given directly to participants observing the vegetarian precept to ensure that festival attendees have sufficient ingredients and beverages throughout the observance period.

The activity also received cooperation from Kanlavela Restaurant, which sent chefs to create special vegetarian dishes for distribution on that day. Executives from both companies personally took part in cooking the food before serving it warmly to local vegetarian festival participants.
