Thailand Post opens baggage delivery booth from 79 baht at IMF-World Bank meetings

Thailand Post is making things convenient for participants in the 2026 IMF-World Bank Group Annual Meetings by opening a postal and logistics service booth in front of Hall 2, G Floor, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, from 12 to 18 October 2026. The booth offers both baggage delivery services and the sale of commemorative stamps for the meetings, one of Thailand's international MICE events drawing participants from many countries around the world.

How many baggage delivery services are available at the booth, and what are the starting prices?

The booth offers three main services to choose from depending on the destination. The first is Travel Lite, for sending luggage and baggage within Thailand, starting from 79 baht. The second is Travel Lite World, a service for sending gifts and baggage abroad, starting from 1,200 baht. The third is Courier Post, a premium international express service, starting from 1,700 baht.

All three services mean that meeting participants do not need to carry their baggage while moving around the event, and can also send gifts from Thailand on to their destination without carrying them personally. They are well suited to participants travelling from abroad who have onward travel plans after the meetings end.

Where can the commemorative meeting stamps be bought?

In addition to the delivery services, Thailand Post has also produced a commemorative stamp set for the 2026 IMF-World Bank Group Annual Meetings, priced at 5 baht per stamp. Sales begin on the first day, 12 October 2026, at the booth inside the venue.

Those who are interested but not attending the event can still buy the stamps at the Thailand Philatelic Museum, at the Samsen Nai Post Operation Building near BTS Saphan Khwai, at Bangrak General Post Office, or order online at any time via the ThailandPostMart app and website. Dr Dhanan Supaphan, Chief Executive Officer and President of Thailand Post Company Limited, said the meetings are an opportunity for Thailand to welcome participants from many countries around the world, and that Thailand Post is bringing in its network and services to help make travel and communication run smoothly, while also using the commemorative stamps as another way of recording a significant national event and sharing Thailand's story with people around the world.

This is relevant for MICE organisers who need to manage large numbers of participants in the same venue, as well as for foreign tourists and stamp collectors wanting to keep a souvenir from this major international meeting. It is also useful information for hospitality professionals in the Sirikit area, who may need to advise guests attending the event about baggage delivery services.
