TAT Organises Free Night Music Event at Lumpini Park from 16 to 27 Oct 2026

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the night-time music and art festival The Night by Amazing Thailand Season 2: Music in Memory at Lumpini Park, Bangkok, from 16 to 27 October 2026, from 16.00 to 21.30 hrs., open to the public and tourists free of charge. This event aims to promote value-based tourism alongside night-time tourism, or Night Tourism, to expand travel options and create economic opportunities for local operators. The event brings together musical performances by more than 46 artists, light art installations, cultural performances, and mind-and-body wellness activities amidst nature.

The Harmony of Healing Concept and Night Tourism Promotion

Ms Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said that travellers today place greater importance on feelings and what they gain from a journey rather than merely visiting places. Travellers want to spend time relaxing to recharge their happiness and experience local cultural identity from a different perspective. TAT has therefore drawn on the cultural assets and potential of Lumpini Park to create a night-time relaxation space under the concept of Harmony of Healing, driving Thailand towards becoming a valuable and meaningful tourism destination.

TAT estimates that throughout the 12-day event, more than 60,000 Thai and international tourists will attend. The event will help stimulate travel and spending across surrounding tourism and service businesses, and is expected to generate more than 200 million baht in circulating economic value.

Musical Performances, Light Art, and Mind-and-Body Wellness Activities

On 21 October 2026, the event is honoured by Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi attending to view the event and perform songs on this special occasion. Across the 12 nights, attendees can also enjoy a wide variety of musical genres, including Orchestra, contemporary music from 4 regions, songs from the 70s to 80s, hit songs from the 90s, Luk Thung, Luk Krung, love songs, pop songs, and Reggae. The rotating line-up of performing artists includes Tor Saksit, Kob Songsit, Gun Napat, Gam Wichayanee, the band Moderndog, RASMEE Isan Soul, and the band Mocca Garden.
