Minor Hotels' goals in the Japanese market
Dillip Rajakarier, Group Chief Executive Officer of Minor International, the parent company of Minor Hotels, said Kyoto is a city that attracts travellers who want to explore at their own pace, and the Oaks brand was developed to meet this need, with spaces that suit families, couples and solo travellers alike, combined with central locations offering convenient access to traditional markets and new routes.
The simultaneous opening of two hotels in Kyoto represents a strong strategic move for the Oaks brand and strengthens Minor Hotels' portfolio in a high-demand destination within the Asia region.
