Megabangna Halloween Haunted House: Tickets 350 Baht, 9 Oct to 1 Nov 2026

Megabangna shopping centre, in collaboration with CMO and various partners, is organising a haunted house event to welcome the Halloween festival, considered a major highlight for the event calendar late this year. The event is held under the name Playing with Ghosts, presenting the story of a haunted university by transforming the MEGA PLAZA area into a spine-chilling venue. This activity will run from 9 October to 1 November 2026, offering thrill-seekers the opportunity to prove their courage.

Executives from Megabangna stated that this event is intended to elevate the horror experience to be grander than in previous years, reinforcing their position as a meeting and socialising space for everyone during every festival. Executives from CMO added that this collaboration brings together expertise in production, lighting and sound technology, and storytelling to create a new project. This partnership also aligns with the organisation's vision to develop intellectual property to create added value for the event business.

Experience Horror in 6 Mysterious Faculties

The event format challenges participants to take on the role of first-year students to solve a mystery in an old university with a history of student disappearances. The horror zones inside are divided into the Faculty of Information Technology, which features a spirit-binding shrine, and the Faculty of Science, which simulates experiments regarding the afterlife. Players must also walk through the Central Library filled with cursed textbooks, as well as the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, where the legend of a ghost dancer is hidden.

The terror continues at the Faculty of Nursing, where a mysterious hospital bed is located, and concludes the mission at the Chancellor's Office to uncover the whole truth. An important rule is that once you step inside, you cannot walk back the way you came. Those who complete all missions have the chance to win a total prize money pool of 100,000 baht. Furthermore, famous artists have joined to initiate the bravery challenge, encouraging fans to join in the fun at the same time.

Ticket Information and Special Activities

Tickets are priced at 350 baht and are reserved for those aged 13 and above. The organisers have also prepared a promotion between 12.00 and 13.00 to receive a 100 baht discount. Specially, those who complete a questionnaire after the activity will receive 1 free cinema ticket from Mega Cineplex.

Apart from the horror on the main route, there are free activities where participants can sit in a circle and listen to mysterious stories from famous ghost storytellers. On 24 October 2026, visitors will meet a storyteller whose works have been made into films, along with individuals who have a sixth sense. On 31 October 2026, there will be a special activity from Princ Hospital Suvarnabhumi, featuring doctors and content creators who will share crime cases from a forensic perspective.
