Marriott International Wins 56 MICHELIN Keys Across 44 Asia Pacific Hotels for 2026
Marriott International has announced that 44 of its hotels across Asia Pacific, excluding China, have won a total of 56 MICHELIN Keys at the 2026 MICHELIN Key Awards.
On 28 September 2026, Marriott International announced that 44 of its hotels across the Asia Pacific region, excluding China, had received a total of 56 MICHELIN Keys at the 2026 MICHELIN Key Awards, held on 18 September 2026. The winning hotels span multiple countries, including Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, the Maldives, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and Thailand.
The MICHELIN Key Awards evaluate hotels using rigorous criteria similar to those used for the MICHELIN Guide restaurant guide, and currently cover nearly 100 destinations across North America, Europe and Asia.
Top Award Goes to Four Luxury Hotels
Of the 44 hotels honoured, most received one Key, while four hotels received two Keys: Bvlgari Resort Bali, Iniala Beach House a Member of Design Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Fari Islands and The Ritz-Carlton Nikko. The top three-Key rating went to four luxury hotels: Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO a Luxury Collection Hotel and Spa, Mandapa a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and Phulay Bay a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
In Thailand, two hotels were recognised at the one-Key level: The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok and The Naka Island a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa Phuket, representing Thailand at this global awards event.

The MICHELIN Key Awards judging panel considers a combination of factors, including architectural vision, consistency of service, special offerings for guests, and the ability to create memorable experiences.
