KTC, CRG and Vietjet Thailand Launch Restaurant Promotion for Free Japan Flights

KTC (Krungthai Card Public Company Limited) has collaborated with the CRG restaurant group and Vietjet Thailand to organise a special campaign entitled the KTC x CRG x Vietjet Thailand Exclusive Campaign. This campaign is open to customers at four renowned Japanese restaurant brands across more than 120 branches nationwide. It will run from 1 August to 31 October 2026. This activity is organised to offer exceptional benefits to credit card members who appreciate Japanese cuisine and travel.

The current restaurant business market conditions continue to experience high competition. Data from the Department of Business Development during the first eight months of 2026 states that the opening of new restaurants has increased by over 21.4 per cent. Concurrently, data from the Japan National Tourism Organization indicates that Thai tourists still favour travelling to Japan for holidays. A KTC executive revealed that card spending in the restaurant category grew significantly early in the year, and Japan remains one of the top countries for card usage. Therefore, the strengths of all three organisations were brought together to seamlessly link dining behaviour with tourism.

Japanese restaurant brand promotion privileges

An executive from CRG's Asian restaurant group stated that building customer relationships in this era requires more than just deliciousness. Providing experiences that connect with customer interests is highly important. This aligns with Vietjet Thailand's vision, which views travel as part of a lifestyle. Organising joint activities thus helps to excellently build customer engagement. Currently, the airline operates direct flights from Thailand to major cities in Japan, namely Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka and Okinawa.

KTC credit card customers can receive excellent value benefits when using services at Katsuya, Pepper Lunch, Yoshinoya and Ramen Kagetsu. The first value is receiving a free special menu item when meeting the spending conditions and downloading the Vietjet Thailand application. For the second value, customers can use KTC FOREVER reward points equal to the spending amount to immediately redeem a 30 per cent food discount.

The highlight for the third value is the chance to win a grand prize of round-trip flight tickets from Bangkok to Japan from Vietjet Thailand. There are five grand prizes in total, with two seats per prize, amounting to a total value of over 264,000 baht. Members will immediately receive one chance to win the prize for every 500 baht spent on dining per sales slip.
