Khao Yai Art Forest Launches One-Day Shuttle Trip from Bangkok Kunsthalle
Khao Yai Art Forest has launched a new day-trip route with a shuttle service from Bangkok Kunsthalle in Bangkok's Yaowarat area, with adult admission priced at 500 baht.
Khao Yai Art Forest, in partnership with the Khao Yai Tourism Association, has launched a same-day return trip to Khao Yai for the late-rainy, early-cool season. According to information released on 21 September 2026, visitors can board a Shuttle Service from Bangkok Kunsthalle in the Yaowarat area of Bangkok, with a journey time of around 3 hours, to view outdoor artworks, enjoy a special meal, and see a fog sculpture, without needing to drive themselves.
One-Day Schedule in the Art Forest
The shuttle departs Bangkok Kunsthalle at 10.00 and heads to Khao Yai Art Forest. The venue has been named one of The World's Greatest Places of 2026 and has been awarded a 5-star STAR sustainable tourism certification by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Lunch is "The 4th Element Tasting Experience", inspired by the four elements of earth, water, wind and fire, prepared by Chef Wuttisak Wuttiamporn and his team using seasonal local ingredients, flowers and produce from the area, with flavours linked to each person's element. Seats should be booked 2 days in advance.
After lunch, there is time to walk around and view outdoor artworks, including "God" by Francesco Arena, "Pilgrimage to Eternity" by Ubatsat, and "Pulsus Vitae (2013)", an interactive work by the French artist duo Scenocosme that invites visitors to embrace a tree to sense the vibrations around them. The visit ends with Khao Yai Fog Forest, a fog sculpture by Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya, with each session lasting 10 minutes, before boarding the shuttle back to Bangkok Kunsthalle.

Those who wish to stay an extra night can notify Khao Yai Art Forest and return the following day at the 17.00 slot from the designated pick-up point. If the visit falls on the second Saturday of the month, K-BAR, a hidden bar on the premises, will be open, accommodating 6 seats per session for 45 minutes, serving drinks designed in collaboration with artists to complement the works of Elmgreen & Dragset and the paintings of Martin Kippenberger.
For accommodation, Estella Khao Yai, an English Cottage-style property in Pak Chong district, is recommended, offering activities such as feeding goats and sheep, playing with capybaras, collecting chicken eggs and bathing ostriches.
