Cosplay party highlights across five world-famous districts
The celebrations begin in Central, where the organisers have partnered with Hongkong Land to transform Statue Square Gardens into a highly creative photo spot. Attendees will be amazed by giant eyeballs, mysterious doors and a haunted prison amidst the atmosphere of historic buildings illuminated throughout the night. Furthermore, there are collaborative activities with local restaurants and shops to allow tourists to experience the traditional atmosphere.
Over at Kai Tak Sports Park, pet lovers and families are catered for with a special zone prepared exclusively for festival nights. The Dining Cove area will be filled with trick-or-treat activities, street dance performances and a horror-themed market. Attendees can also enjoy classic Cantonese music DJ performances amidst distinctive neon lights.
As for Lan Kwai Fong, the hub of nightlife entertainment, it goes all out with three types of parties. Everyone can dress up in fancy costumes to compete while enjoying the search for secret photo spots throughout the alleys. Meanwhile, Mong Kok, in collaboration with Langham Place, transforms the space in front of the shopping mall into a live music stage and game booths. In this district, there is also a classic red minibus decorated in a spooky style serving as a major check-in point.
Concluding the street party route is Tsim Sha Tsui East, which transforms the atmosphere along Victoria Harbour into a light and colour carnival for three weeks. Each week features a different dress-up theme, such as characters from video games, famous movies and a luxurious gala event. This event also features world-class cosplayers adding vibrant colours alongside adorable cartoon characters wearing special costumes specifically for this occasion.
Popular theme parks join in with full-on horror
Aside from the street celebrations, the world-class theme park Hong Kong Disneyland is also participating in this festival with the Disney Halloween Time event. Tourists will get to watch a new musical performance and a parade of villains gathering in grand fashion. Inside the theme park, there are also special food menus and fun activities prepared to welcome fans of all ages.
Meanwhile, Ocean Park is presenting its annual Halloween Fest by launching a new form of horror experience. A key highlight is the collaboration with the famous IP Under the Castle to create a terrifying haunted house. The special activities at both theme parks will run until 1 November 2026, which perfectly complements year-end travel.
This press release is highly interesting for tourists planning to travel to Hong Kong towards the end of the year, as well as event organisers wanting to study approaches to creating city-level festivals. Furthermore, it is beneficial for hotel professionals in preparing promotions or special activities to accommodate guests during the said festival.
