Dusit Thani Pattaya Organises Nature and Environmental Conservation Activities in Chonburi

Dusit Thani Pattaya continues to drive tangible sustainability initiatives by collaborating with key business partners, including Makro South Pattaya, Pegas, DTS, and supplier representatives, to organise nature and marine environmental conservation activities in Chonburi province on 28 September 2026. These activities aimed primarily to raise awareness about protecting wildlife and marine animals, as well as restoring Thailand's coastal ecosystems to abundance once again. The event received excellent cooperation from the management team, employees, business partners, and distinguished guests who joined forces to demonstrate their shared commitment to environmental care.

Continuing the Tree of Life Sustainability Concept

This social and environmental activity was driven under the sustainability development framework named Tree of Life, which is a core policy of the Dusit Thani group aimed at creating a positive impact on the surrounding society and environment. This field operation was also organised to commemorate World Animal Day, which falls on 4 October every year. The organisers therefore selected three key wildlife and nature conservation centres in Chonburi province as target areas, ensuring that the operations could create genuine and sustainable benefits for the local environment.

The management team of Dusit Thani Pattaya emphasised that sustainability has always been at the heart of the hotel's operations. The synergy between the hotel, business partners, suppliers, and guests is considered a crucial factor that enables the organisation to create tangible positive impacts at the community level. Through the concept of connecting with the community, the hotel remains committed to protecting the environment, supporting local wildlife conservation, and instilling sustainable nature care for future generations.

Ecosystem Restoration Missions Across Three Key Areas

For the field missions in Chonburi province, the group began their activities at the Bang Lamung Wildlife Breeding Station. Participants joined in caring for and supporting the feeding of rescued bears, which promoted the welfare and enhanced the quality of life for the wildlife under the centre's care. Following this, the group travelled to the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Centre to help clean the sea turtle nursery ponds and participate in releasing sea turtles back into nature, marking another effort to increase the aquatic population in the marine ecosystem.

On the same occasion, representatives from Dusit Thani Pattaya also acted on behalf of the hotel to present funding, collected from the united contributions of employees and hotel guests, to be used for the ongoing promotion of marine life welfare and conservation. Afterwards, the group proceeded to the Air and Coastal Defence Command to collaboratively cultivate and propagate mangrove seedlings. This activity helped to enhance the richness of the coastal ecosystem, prevent coastal erosion, and provide a natural nursery for juvenile aquatic animals to grow.
