Dusit Thani Bangkok Upgraded to Two MICHELIN Keys, Dusit Group Feted in 4 Countries

The MICHELIN Guide has announced its latest list of recognised hotels and restaurants for 2026, with Dusit Thani Group receiving rankings across four countries: Thailand, Japan, the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. The highlight is Dusit Thani Bangkok, which has been upgraded from One MICHELIN Key to Two MICHELIN Keys, reflecting the Group's service standards across its hotels and restaurants in multiple brands.

Mr Chanin Donavanik, Group Chief Executive Officer of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, said that receiving Two MICHELIN Keys for Dusit Thani Bangkok is a great honour, made even more meaningful by the simultaneous recognition of several other hotels and restaurants within the Group. He attributed this achievement to the entire team's commitment to the roots of Thai hospitality, combined with an ability to adapt to the needs of today's travellers.

A New Dusit Thani Bangkok in the Heart of Lumpini Park

Dusit Thani Bangkok has 257 rooms and stands on the site of the original hotel, which had operated since 1970 before closing for renovation in 2019 and reopening in September 2024 as the centrepiece of Dusit Central Park, a mixed-use development comprising luxury residences, office space, retail areas and an elevated public park. Every room offers views of Lumpini Park, and the hotel has been positioned as a new benchmark for the Dusit Thani brand, combining Thai hospitality with contemporary design.

In addition, Dusit Thani Kyoto in Japan and Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort in the Philippines have retained their One MICHELIN Key status. Meanwhile, lifestyle brand hotels ASAI Bangkok Chinatown, ASAI Bangkok Sathorn and ASAI Kyoto Shijo have also been included in the MICHELIN Guide's list of recommended hotels, based on assessments of quality, distinct character and connection to their surrounding communities.

Group Restaurants Receive Multiple Awards

Canvas by Umberto Bombana at Dusit Thani Bangkok has received One MICHELIN Star in the MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2026, following on from its first star awarded in November 2025, making it the only Italian restaurant in Thailand to receive a MICHELIN star in this edition. Meanwhile, Thien Duong Vietnamese restaurant at Baan Dusit Thani has retained its Bib Gourmand status, an award for restaurants offering good quality food at reasonable prices.

In the Philippines, Benjarong Thai restaurant and Umu Japanese restaurant at Dusit Thani Manila have been listed as recommended restaurants in the MICHELIN Guide Philippines 2026. In the United Arab Emirates, Namak, the contemporary Indian restaurant at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, has also retained its status as a recommended restaurant.
