Big Bad Wolf Books, organiser of discounted English-language book fairs, will hold Big Bad Wolf Books Bangkok 2026 at PLATINUM POP Ratchaprasong from 2 to 13 October 2026. The fair is open daily from 10:00 to midnight to mark the brand's 10th anniversary in Thailand, with more than 1 million books on sale at up to 95% off. More than 1 million books across 60,000 square feet
The fair brings together books from more than 40 Thai and international publishers, laid out over two floors totalling more than 60,000 square feet. There is also a Clearance zone with books starting at just 20 baht.

Jacqueline Ng, co-founder of Big Bad Wolf Books, said that over the past ten years the most meaningful thing has not been the number of books sold, but helping to create new readers. This year the fair returns to the heart of Bangkok so that books are easier to reach, both in price and in travel. The PISA 2025 survey found that only 41% of Thai 15-year-old students reach basic proficiency or above in reading, compared with the OECD average of 69%. Meanwhile, a 2024 survey of Thai reading habits by the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand found that Thai people spend an average of 113 minutes a day reading, with 45% reading every day. Printed books remain popular at 50%, close to e-books at 47%.
These figures suggest that although reading habits are changing in the digital age, the experience of choosing and owning a book still matters to people.
