Opening Space for Fans to Cheer Alongside Esports Internship Program
The Grand Final match day at Union Mall allows gaming fans to attend and cheer for their favourite teams right by the stage, alongside trying out games on Predator equipment and participating in activities for a chance to win prizes throughout the day. Mr. Jeff Lee, Managing Director of Acer Computer (Thailand), stated that the company has been organising the Predator League tournament in Thailand since 2018 and has continuously seen new players grow from this stage. This year, the intention is for the Thailand Predator League 2027 to be an arena that provides an opportunity for Thai teams to fully demonstrate their potential, before stepping up to become representatives on regional and international stages.
In addition to the tournament, Acer continues the Esports Internship Program in collaboration with Sripatum University and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, providing an opportunity for students to learn the behind-the-scenes work of real tournament management, and selecting student representatives to attend the Grand Finals in Vietnam as well.
This news is of interest to event organisers looking for activity ideas to attract younger demographics into retail spaces, as well as professionals in the shopping centre and venue business who wish to follow the format of large-scale esports events in Bangkok.
